Joy By Nature is owned and led by Kerry Johnson, a Registered Nurse with over 20 years’ experience in healthcare. Kerry has spent her career caring for patients in high-acuity hospital settings and now brings that same level of care, attention and safety into every treatment offered at the clinic.
Kerry is passionate about helping people feel confident, well and supported at every stage of life. Her approach is calm, considered and personalised — taking the time to listen, understand your goals, and create treatment plans that feel right for you.
Alongside her clinical background, Kerry has advanced training in skin treatments, aesthetic medicine and dermal therapies. She is known for her natural, subtle approach, focusing on enhancing what makes you uniquely you rather than changing how you look.
Kerry also works behind the scenes in medical research and education, contributing to national health projects and university teaching. This means the care you receive at Joy By Nature is guided by current best practice, strong safety standards and a deep understanding of patient wellbeing.
As Director and Owner of Joy By Nature, Kerry personally oversees all treatments at the clinic, ensuring they are delivered safely, ethically and in line with Australian regulations. You can feel confident knowing your care is in experienced, qualified hands.

Joy By Nature operates under the medical oversight of Dr Adrian Mattke, a highly experienced medical specialist in paediatric and intensive care medicine.
Dr Mattke is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the College of Intensive Care Medicine, with many years of experience caring for patients in complex and high-acuity medical settings. His background reflects a strong commitment to patient safety, ethical practice and high clinical standards.
At Joy By Nature, Dr Mattke provides medical oversight to support safe, compliant and responsible care. He works behind the scenes to review clinical protocols, ensure treatments align with current Australian healthcare standards, and provide medical authorisation when required.
This medical oversight adds an additional layer of reassurance for our clients, ensuring that all treatments delivered by our registered nursing team are supported by clear medical governance and evidence-based practice.
